She’s been quite for a little bit with the buzz from Our Song and Teardrops On My Guitar finally starting to die down. This song should bring her back into the spotlight. 7/10

Emmanuel Jal - Warchild

“There’s no doubting the chilling authenticity of this rapper’s tales of urban warfare. At the age of 8, Emmanuel Jal became a child soldier for the Sudan People’s Liberation Army, a horrific experience he pours into the songs on “Warchild,” his solo follow-up to a 2005 disc he made with Sudanese singer/oud player Abdel Gadir Salim. Jal’s lyrics are clearly the focus here—”I believe I survived for a reason to tell my story to touch lives,” he declares in the title track—but producers Roachie and Silvastone anchor the MC’s flow with casually globe-tripping tracks whose warm melodicism recalls recent work by Wyclef Jean.—Mikael Wood”

Very Cascada-ish house track, without as much buildup on the beat. Has a small chance at crossover, however it’s a great track.

Scars On Broadway - They Say

Very short (2:45) rock track, but i this should do well on rock/alt stations. 7/10

Rehab - Sittin At A Bar

I got this track approx two years ago, as this group has a solid foundation in the south. The track is finally mainstream ready, and i’m sure it will be solid. 8/10

Michelle Williams feat Flo-Rida - We Break The Dawn Remix

Flo-Rida’s verse on this is sick, and makes this track sound much better. Feelin this one. 8/10
