American Idol Moving It’s Time Slot For The Ninth Season

FOX network is shifting American Idol result show/auditions to a new time slot starting January 27th.

Read below for a more detail description on what is going on with FOX and their new shows including everybody favorite show “Glee”.

The ninth season of American Idol kicks off with a two-hour premiere on January 12th (few weeks) away at 8 p.m.

While on January 13th, American Idol airs at 8 p.m. followed by the debut of a new show called “Our Little Genius” at 9 p.m. and American Idol will stil continues in that 8 p.m. time slot one more week on January 20th, leading into the 9 p.m. series premiere of a new FOX show “Human Target” starring Mark Valley, Chi McBride, and Jackie Earle Haley.

Finally after that starting on January 27, the shows will settle into their usual time slots for the rest of the season: Human Target at 8 p.m. and American Idol at 9 p.m on Wednesday nights.

While American Idol will still be on at 8pm on Tuesday nights follow by “Our Little Genius” at 9pm till April 13th when Glee come back from the hiatus and will take over the time slot of “Our Little Genius” at 9pm.

It’s official, Glee will be moving to Tuesday nights at 9pm starting April 13th for the remaining 9 episodes of the first season.
