Juakali – Mission Memory9 is a self-taught musician from Italy who, after years of performing many shows across North America and Europe, eventually landed in London, where he started playing regularly at clubs and festivals. His latest single is Mission, featuring Juakali’s vocals. It’s a crushing piece of ragga-tronica. Slamming drum hits thump against brooding basslines [...] Chase & Status – Blind Faith Chase & Status continue to be one of the most innovative and exciting acts around at present. New single ‘Blind Faith’ again raises the bar, with a heavy inclusion of Loleatta Holloway’s ‘Love Sensation’ to create an air of commercialism to the track. After a few listens, comparisons become apparent between them and England’s favourites Keane (come on, you know you love Keane) as well as Muse. CCTV mixes guitar and keyboard turning the track into an instant anthem, something you can get [...] Agnes Obel – Just So Just So is the second track lifted from Agnes Obel’s debut album Philharmonics. Ostensibly, there isn’t very much to this single just Ms Obel’s hauntingly soft vocals, accompanied by sparse piano.
