Nearly 15 years… In March 1995, the album D’Eux came out. To celebrate this birthday, Legacy Recordings decided to propose to Céline Dion’s fans a re-release.
D’Eux has been a great album for the Canadian singer : 700,000 copies sold in Canada, 250,000 copies in the UK, 4,225,000 in France since its release with many hits, becoming one of the most sold French-speaking albums, with a total of 6.5 million copies.
On November 27, Legacy will re-release the album, remastered, with 3 demos taken from Jean-Jacques Goldman’s personal archive, “Pour Que Tu M’Aimes Encore”, “J’Irai Où Tu Iras” & “Le Ballet”. New liner notes have been added with a 40-page booklet & new photos. Don’t forget the Opendisc link to discover the photo sessions & a unreleased version of “J’Attendais”.
On the live DVD, there’ll be a show, shot in Québec in 1995, “Spécial Dimanche”, reuniting Céline Dion & Jean-Jacques Goldman for the first time. The singer performed “Je Sais Pas”, “Les Derniers Seront Les Premiers”, “J’Irai Où Tu Iras” & “Pour Que Tu M’Aimes Encore”.
