Cinema Bizarre – News – Cinema Bizarre, The End
Cinema Bizarre, it’s over. The Berlin-based band announced their split after 2 albums & the latest, ToyZ, came out in August 2009. The end.
After 2 albums & one hit, “Love Songs (They Kill Me)” (N°28 in 2008), the Berlin-based band Cinema Bizarre split, after the release of ToyZ in August 2009 & their concert at Paris’ Bataclan in October 2009. That’s what Strify said on the band’s official MySpace. The 5 German boys have done a great tour in the United States, with a well-known artist : Lady Gaga. “For 3 years, we have travelled a lot & at the end, we changed a lot. After the “We’re All ToyZ” tour, we decided the following. You can read what’s our decision. Every band member is happy with the final decision” Strify, Cinema Bizarre singer, said to Evous.
In an electro-pop way, Strify (vocals), Kiro (bass), Yu (guitar), Shin (drums) & Romeo (keyboards, who replaced Luminor), did their come-back. The first single, “I Came 2 Party”, featuring Space Cowboy, has been produced by RedOne, the man behind… Lady Gaga.
Strify added : “I can only tell you there are many ideas in my head, I’m happy to start a new adventure & I’m looking for people to collaborate”.
The glam rock band started 2 years ago, with their first album Final Attraction. The band was amazing, with their manga look & songs between rock, new wave & 80′s pop. With the first single “Love Songs (They Kill Me)”, Final Attraction has been N°10 in Germany, N°24 in France, also successful in Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, Russia & Italy. The band received a Border Breaker Award in 2008.
