Corpus Christi, TX (Vocus) November 18, 2009 — March 26–28, 2010 – The Corpus Christi Arts & Cultural Commission and the Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department invite everyone to its 8th annual citywide three-day free cultural event. This event will include participating artistic and cultural individuals and organizations that will provide free entertainment consisting of dance, music, cinema, literature, folk arts, exhibits, downtown public art tram tours, and visual arts.
The 2010 Corpus Christi Festival of the Arts will feature the return of guest artists, Julie Kirk and Melanie Stimmell and their expertise with the ephemeral technique of Italian Street Painting. The Commission’s goal in hosting the Festival of the Arts is to promote the arts, the cultural community and its talents to local residents, tourists and newcomers during a FREE three-day event.
