Kimberly Wyatt of the Pussycat Dolls says that she and Nicole were more of business associates than friends.
“With Nicole, she’s more someone I work with, rather than a friend. But again, from all the touring and time we spent together, we did get close.
“I’d say that in any situation, nothing is ever perfect. But from the beginning, the way it was all put together, Nicole was always the lead singer and we had to come to terms with it. At the end of the day, that was just my job and when I came out on stage.
“I knew what my job was and I did it to the best of my ability. I feel like I can relate to anybody in a corporate job – because it’s just a job, nothing more!
“I don’t know if the Dolls will get back together. It’s not really up to me. I don’t know what’s next for the Pussycat Dolls.”
Madonna’s pimping out her boyfriend Jesus Luz to the music industry. Luz has allegedly been signed by Madonna’s former label Warner and will release his first single ‘We Came From Light’ in May.
“Madonna was determined to give Jesus all the help she can,” a source told The Sun. “She holds a lot of sway at Warner, where she had a deal until very recently. But getting him on the books wasn’t completely plain-sailing.
“There was a little give and take between her and execs, but a compromise was eventually settled upon.”
Luz reportedly secured a two-single deal, with Warner getting first refusal on an album.
Nine Inch Nails may be working on some new music. A new picture was posted to the official website in addition to a long line of other cryptic photos.
Jennifer Lopez assures fans that her album Love? will be released this year.
“I am making this statement to put an end to any confusion in regards to my next album, titled Love. I have belonged to the Sony family since the beginning of my career as a singer and together we’ve had great success.
“I have fulfilled my contractual responsibilities with Sony/Epic up to this point, and we have both reached friendly terms about my departure from the label.
“I’m also happy to say that we’ve found a new home for my album Love and that it is slated for release in the summer of 2010.”
Justin Bieber and Rihanna will be performing at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on March 27 reports People Magazine. They also say that Nickelodeon is offering an All-Access Sweepstakes with Justin Bieber. Those wishing to enter the contest, which runs March 3-10, may do so at nick.com/kca10. The winner will receive a trip for four to Los Angeles, tickets to the show, an invitation to walk the famous KCA orange carpet, access to Bieber’s pre-show rehearsal and a private meet-and-greet with the teen star.
Let’s hope we don’t get any tween-girl stampedes or 22-year-old nip-slips (I’m lookin’ at you Rihanna).
Patti LaBelle slammed the judges of American Idol, recently.

MTV reports that LaBelle said that given the chance she’d take a different approach in helping to cultivate the young talent featured on the show. “If you believe in yourself, just go for it,” she would advise the show’s contestants. “What do you have to lose? And when people tell you, ‘You can’t,’ you have to say, ‘I can.’ “
