Jimmy Buffett Changes Attitudes in Gulf’s Latitude
As I was watching Jimmy Buffett’s live concert from the Gulf Coast on CMT on Sunday night (July 11), noticing all the smiling faces in the gigantic crowd, I was just a little bit jealous. Hey, I’m all about a beach vacation and when I heard “Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes,” I got to thinking, “You know, maybe if I left really early next Saturday morning …” You know, this Buffett is a pretty persuasive guy. “Fins” always gets stuck in my head after I hear it and “Margaritaville” still makes me happy after all these years. I appreciate the encouraging sentiment of the modernized version of “When the Coast Is Clear,” too. (See below). For those lucky enough to attend the show, they’ll have an incredible summer memory come Monday. What were your favorite parts of the concert?
