Matt Pokora – News – Fourth album in spring 2010

The follow-up of his English album MP3, released last year, M. Pokora will go back to studios next month, to record his new French album, released in 2010.

The follow-up of MP3 (N°7 in 2008) will come out in spring 2010. The album will be sung in French, with many producers : Wayne Beckford, Gee Futuristik (Germany), Bionix (Belgium), the faithful Kore & his brother Tarz (France)… About his next international album, the singer will prepare it after his French one, with American producers again. “I finished MP3 promo abroad, then I took time to stop a little. Since last month, I’m working on a new French album & I’d like a new English album, to continue what I started on the international market. I’m going to studio in January 2010 & my new single will be aired next spring… The album will be pop, with electro influences, like I did with “Dangerous”" M. Pokora said.

Also, the singer participated to the single “If” against AIDS. The song has been recorded by many artists to help the research, available on legal download. The band’s album Messages will come out on January 30, 2010.

Matthieu Tota aka Matt Pokora was born on September 26, 1985 in Strasbourg. Son of former footballer André Tota, he’s of Polish origin. Former member of the R&B band Mic Unity, he got known with “Popstars” in late 2003. With the 2 other winners Lionel Tim & Otis, he founded the band Linkup. After their split, M. Pokora recorded 3 solo albums : the latest one, MP3, released in 2008 in France & abroad, has been produced by Timbaland.
