Well say goodbye to Super Music Monday as Lady GaGa has pulled out of the running leaving November 23 the day of Rated R.
Earlier this evening we tweeted news about Lady GaGa canceling The Fame Monster but quickly deleted it after we could not confirm the bit of news. Well we have GaGa’s exact words from her appearance on the German television show Wetten Dass and here’s her big announcement:
“I’ve been fighting with my record label because my album as a re-release was entirely too expensive. So last night I ripped it in half. So I will release an entire new album… and so that my fans won’t have to spend so much money…â€
There you have it, straight from the horse’s mouth, The Fame Monster is no longer. It has not been confirmed what will happen with the songs but we imagine they will still make their way to digital musical outlets like iTunes, Rhapsody, etc…
The whole cancellation is a bittersweet feeling. On one hand we love to hear new music from GaGa because her perseverance, determination and work ethic turns us on, simply put. On the other hand we felt she was putting too much energy behind 8 songs that sounded very similar to what she already done.

… fail.
This is not true because she is already going on tour so don't make up stuff that isn't true.
It was true at the time of this posting.
well, how come I have bought it from a store and have it now in my cd shelf?
