Lady GaGa has dominated the charts this year and continues to do so.  It would be a shame if she doesn’t win this award.

POP/ROCK - Favorite Male Artist
Eminem
Michael Jackson
T.I.

I don’t understand this award, because Eminem and T.I. are pretty far from Pop/Rock.  Michael wins it hands down, although I feel T.I. would run away with this award had M.J. not passed away.

POP/ROCK - Favorite Female Artist
Beyonce
Lady Gaga
Taylor Swift

This is a very tough category, as all three ladies have had enormous years, but I still feel Lady GaGa deserves this.

POP/ROCK - Favorite Band, Duo or Group
The Black Eyed Peas
Kings of Leon
Nickelback

The always underrated Kings Of Leon get screwed out of another award due to The Black Eyed Peas being on the radio every ten seconds.  Too bad.

POP/ROCK - Favorite Album
Fame - Lady Gaga
Number Ones - Michael Jackson
Fearless - Taylor Swift

#1’s is obviously a classic, but so is The Fame.

COUNTRY - Favorite Male Artist
Jason Aldean
Darius Rucker
Keith Urban

Mr Rucker got the award he deserved at the CMA’s, and should win this here too, although a lot of people who don’t follow country music and are too young to remember Hootie have no clue who this guy is.  Again, too bad.

COUNTRY - Favorite Female Artist
Reba McEntire
Taylor Swift
Carrie Underwood

I’d be happy with any of these ladies winning, but I think after Taylor shocking the world (not me though) at the CMA’s, she continues her run of winning awards.

COUNTRY - Favorite Band, Duo or Group
Rascal Flatts
Sugarland
Zac Brown Band

If Zac Brown Band wins this award I’ll be pretty upset.  Rascal Flatts and Sugarland are both amazing bands, but I feel Sugarland has had a better year.

COUNTRY - Favorite Album
Unstoppable - Rascal Flatts
Fearless - Taylor Swift
Foundation - Zac Brown Band

If Zac Brown Band wins this, I’ll probably turn off my TV.  Unstoppable was a decent album, but Fearless was…. well…. Amazing.

RAP/HIP-HOP - Favorite Male Artist
Eminem
Jay-Z
T.I.

Grrrrrr.  T.I. has released as many singles (probably more) than the other two nominees combined over the last year.  It’ll be a travesty is T.I. doesn’t win this.

RAP/HIP-HOP - Favorite Album
Relapse - Eminem
Blueprint 3 - Jay-Z
Paper Trail - T.I.

Why Blueprint 3 is here is beyond me?  The album is terrible!  And for that matter, so was Relapse.  Paper Trail is the best Rap Album of the last 5 years.  Show T.I.P. some love.

No brainer.

SOUL/R&B - Favorite Female Artist

Keri Hilson

I feel bad for Keyshia and Keri, because they are both great……. But they ain’t Mrs. Hova.

The E.N.D. - The Black Eyed Peas
Number Ones - Michael Jackson

All three albums are amazing and instant classics, but I feel Beyonce’s album has basically dominated the charts since it’s release.

Another popularity contest, another loss for Kings Of Leon.  They’ll get respect… Eventually.

ADULT CONTEMPORARY - Favorite Artist

Jason Mraz
Taylor Swift

Although I don’t consider Daughtry very contemporary, he is still the best artist over the last two years (hands down).  Another win for Ms. Swift.

LATIN - Favorite Artist

Luis Fonsi
Wisin Y Yandel

No Calle 13?  WTF?  Wisin Y Yandel hands down.

CONTEMPORARY INSPIRATIONAL - Favorite Artist
