Sarah Brightman - News - ‘Stand Alone’ theme song for new Japanese drama
Sarah will be performing the theme song of yet another television drama, this time for NHK’s forthcoming drama “Saka no ue no kumo”. STAND ALONE was composed by Joe Hisaishi and recorded with the NHK Symphony Orchestra.
The soundtrack album will be released in Japan only on Nov 18. It will also be available as bundle-only digital album.
Set in the Meiji Period, “Saka no ue no kumo” revolves around the trials and tribulations of military officers during the during the Russo-Japanese War. The first part of “Saka no Ue no Kumo” will start airing on November 29, 2009, with the remaining segments planned for 2010 and 2011.
