According to new reports, socialite Paris Hilton has been back in the studio working on her sophomore album, and as even spotted the other day (September 18th) attending a vocal lessons class in Beverly Hills. Paris is preparing for album number two,” says a source close to Paris. “She’s super excited about it and the stuff she’s started working on sounds amazing. There is no question, she’s going to have another hit off this album.” The 28-year-old has been working on the album on-and-off since 2007, and last November she admitted that she had finished recording it and was just trying to figure out which label to go with after being dropped by Warner Bros.“It’s very dance, like Kylie Minogue” she said at the time.Hiltons first album Paris only managed to sell about 180k in the US, but it did reach a total of about 500k worldwide. The album also spawned the hit single “Stars Are Blind” which peaked in the top 20 of the Hot 100, and managed to reach the top 5 and 10 in most countries internationally. Hilton has only released a few songs since then, including “Jailhouse Baby” which details her short stint in prison, “My BFF” which was the official theme song for her reality show of the same name, and “Paris for President” which was released as a viral video during the 2008 Presidential election. She also sung in her film “Repo: The Genetic Opera” and appeared on the soundtrack. Comments/Thoughts
