Pop/R&B crossover sensation, Jay Sean, is readying the release of his album, All or Nothing, for Super Monday, November 23. As the days countdown it seems leak after leak will drip from the album. Three songs from the album have splattered onto the net today alone; “Do You,” “War,” and “Eternity.”
“Do You,” produced by Alan Sampson is a midtempo track with a bumping bassline matched with artificial instruments; violins, drums and piano key playing. The song is a repetitive serious of questions in which he asks “Do You…?” to his girl.
“War,” produced by J-Remy & Bobbybass, is another ballad backed by some marching band instrumental mixed with solemn bassline and piano riff. Lyrically, another song dealing with relationships where Sean compares himself to the other guy that has an interest in his girl.
“Eternity,” produced by Polow Da Don, is an uptempo song and is our favorite of the bunch. It’s the usual Polow energetic banger that would fit right in a club. Lyrically… must we repeat ourselves?
Jay Sean seems to have an album of filler; super made-for-radio songs that will have a lifespan of… well you look at that, we’re on to the next thing already. The songs are good for what they are; songs to bump your head to on some loud speaker system.
